In the TENTACLE - Rectum cohort study, we aim to investigate what factors contribute to anastomotic leakage severity and and what leakage characteristics are associated with the success of different initial treatments of anastomotic leakage after rectal cancer resection.

This retrospective study will be performed in a multinational setting. The TENTACLE study data will be collected from April 2020 until December 2020 (see also study timeline).
